Brand new eyewear range
March 1st 2010 Draeger has launched a
brand new range of
protective spectacles and
goggles to join its existing
range of personal protective
equipment (PPE). The new
Draeger X-pect 8000
eyewear collection combines
style with safety and comfort
and is suitable for use with
other forms of PPE such as
ear defenders or respiratory
protection. The range
comprises different models
to suit a wide variety of
applications from grinding,
machining and painting
through to laboratory
applications and working with
gases, vapours or smoke.
The selection includes
cover spectacles, spectacles
and goggles.
Some of the features across
the range include anti-scratch
and anti-fog coatings, nose
bridges designed for comfort,
soft temples for a better fit
mono lenses for a wide field of
vision and soft browguard
components to provide
protection against impact as
well as dust and chemical
