Bright idea
August 1st 2008

A new addition to Aearo's FUEL range of safety spectacles (sunglasses) promises to make working outdoors easier and is said to be the first frame on the European market with dark grey polarised lenses.

Aearo (now part of 3M) says its innovation gives the wearer optimal comfort against horizontal glare and a better pereception of contrasts in bright environments. This is in addition to proven impact performance and protection against UV.

The frame consists of a black front and grey temples, with rubber temples and nose pads for comfort. Anti-scratch polycarbonate lens contain polarised layers which have passed the highest optical tests, and is marked optical Class 1.
