September 1st 2009 Research among end users has
shown that comfort is often the
main factor in the use of protective
eye equipment in environments such
as factories, construction sites and
laboratories. In resonse to this headto-
toe Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE) provider Sperian
Protection has launched the
DuraMaxx high- performance goggle
which combines comfort, anti-fog,
ease of use and durability.
The goggles' ocular ergonomics
are said to offer perfect vision and
enhanced protection. Lenses are
treated on each side with anti-fog on
the inside and anti-scratch on the
outside, using high-performance
coatings.
An elastic headband made from a
soft elastomer with pivoting
attachments adjusts to the face to
ensure an optimal fit. The goggles
can also be easily worn over most
spectacles as they are specifically
designed not to squeeze the frames
and to prevent the frames from
