Eliminates the glare
June 1st 2008

Available from Peltor is a new safety spectacle that has a photochromic lens which can adapt to changing light conditions.

The Smart 100 safety spectacle (sunglasses) is designed to provide extra comfort as the lens changes from light-brown to dark grey within 30sec when entering bright sunlight. It gives visibility while eliminating glare which, in turn, will give better perception and contrast in a bright environment. The wearer will also bee protected against UV.

The frame is a combination of a light nylon black/grey front and aluminium rubber tipped temples which, combined with a soft nose bridge, makes the Smart 100 comfortable to wear.

The anti-scratch polycarbonate lens is marked optical Class 1.
