Looks comfortable
February 1st 2010

According to uvex, the latest addition to its ultra-light super g safety glasses look equally good as overspectacles.

The super OTG spectacles feature highresolution lenses with optical properties above current recognised standards.

The polycarbonate lenses are fog and scratch-free, dirtrepellent, and distortion-free, and offer 100% UV protection. They are set at an incline of 11°, allowing good downward visibility and minimising the risk of trips and falls.

The frame incorporates flexible, impact-resistant and hingeless side pieces, which are designed to combine the benefits of temple glasses with the comfort of a headband. The flexible side pieces mean the glasses can be comfortably worn with prescription glasses if needed, or on their own.

The design of the side pieces allows the inclination of the glasses to be adjusted, since they can be made to fit around the head in different positions, while uvex's xstream technology (XST) also provides soft and highly flexible ear pieces for prolonged comfort.

Available in a choice of frame colours and lens shades and coatings, super OTG spectacles are suitable for cutting, precision, assembly, laboratory, grinding or outdoor work, and for use as visitors' glasses or for wearing over prescription glasses.
