uvex has made it easier and quicker for safety professionals to order safety prescription eyewear with the launch of a new prescription ordering website.

The user-friendly system is designed to display preagreed frame and lens options, accept orders and issue approval for the employee to proceed with an eye-test. When the system is set up for a new customer, lens and frame options app roved by the client are entered onto the system. Access to the client's page is password protected, ensuring that only authorised orders are placed.

The safety professional can print the form off and hand it to the employee, forward it by email if they work off site, or email it to an optician who accepts orders in this manner.

The process can be set up for organisations of all sizes; multiple account and passwords can be created.
