Stylish eye wear
April 1st 2008

Kimberly-Clark Professional will be launching a new protective eye wear series as an extension to its Kleenguard brand at this year's Safety & Health Expo.

Brian Davis, category manager eye protection, explains "Kimberly-Clark Professional can now offer complete protection from head to toe, improving personal comfort, safety and worker performance. The new styles have been developed with users in mind. They are impact-resistant, they conform to the standard EN166 1F (2001) on eye protection and they offer the highest optical clarity and 99.9% UVA/UVB protection." Four styles are available, offering protection appropriate to industries such as manufacturing, construction, clean manufacturing, food processing, maintenance and warehousing. Products range from standard visitor glasses to the more stylish frames with enhanced comfort features and design.

Kleenguard V40 contour eye protection, for example, offers a high degree of comfort in a range of styles.

It features a soft gel, adjustable nose piece, dualmoulded rubber temples and a durable vented frame with cushioned brow protection.

It is available in smoke, amber, clear, silver mirror, indoor/outdoor and anti-fog lenses and comprises a stylish, lightweight wraparound design.

Davis continues "All the new styles are comfortable and they look good, with a sleek wrap-around style which offers the greatest protection to the user.
