Anti-slip footwear

Progressive Safety Footwear & Clothing has been appointed as a UK distributor for a new range of anti-slip safety footwear developed in the USA.

Anti-slip properties are provided by the Suregrip rubber compound sole unit, with patterned tread that is said to ensure a safe grip in almost all hazardous areas.

The footwear will be on show at Safety & Health Expo where customers can try it and judge for themselves its anti-slip qualities.

Initially the range will comprise a black 6in boot and mid-cut hiker (full sizes 4 to 13, plus half sizes 61 /2 to 101 /2), a black shoe and trainer (full sizes 2 to 13, with half sizes 61 /2 to 101 /2).

There will also be a black overshoe (sizes XS to XXL) and white and green Wellingtons (sizes 3 to 13).

All the footwear is made to EN345, giving 200 joules toe protection.
