Comfort and protection
June 1st 2007

New from Sievi, the GT 7 XL S3 boot is made of high quality materials, including a waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex membrane to give the wearer a high degree of comfort and protection while ensuring that the boot is long-lasting and reliable.

In addition, the boot offers antistatic safety and is suitable for a wide variety of industries.

The GT 7 has a wide, anatomic last and shank support, ensuring that the foot can find its most natural form.

It also affords a good level of ankle support and a side zip allows for easy removal once the quick lace-up front has been adjusted for optimal fit.

The sole is of Sievi's FlexStep material which is said to ensure excellent shock absorption under the entire foot. The sole is lightweight and flexible, helping to reduce fatigue for the wearer.

FlexStep also helps to reduce strain to the foot during heavy impacts and it remains flexible in low temperatures.

The slip-resistant material, together with the sole pattern, help to ensure a good grip on slippery surfaces.

Toes are protected from impact up to 200J and 15 000N compression with a wide steel fitting toecap. This comes with an attached softener to safeguard against rubbing and discomfort.

A steel midsole fitted into the boot guards against 1100N penetration, while a heel stiffener also gives support and helps the boot to hold its form.

The removable Sievi Comfort insole is breathable, antistatic and machine-washable.

The company says that due to the Gore-Tex membrane the GT 7 boot literally breathes with the feet and keeps them comfortably dry in all conditions.
