Composite toecap
October 1st 2004

The new BAC’RUN range of safety footwear from Bacou-Dalloz features an asymmetrically-shaped, fully composite toecap that reduces the weight of the shoe and is said to create excellent balance, similar to that of non-safety footwear.

The toecap’s specially designed edge allows it to be flexed comfortably, making it suitable for anyone on the move.

Made from a nonmetallic polymer, the Spacium toecap is said to be many times less thermally conductive than conventional toecaps, providing good heat insulation for wearers in both hot and cold environments.

BAC’RUN footwear has a full, pre-moulded, antifungal and anti-bacterial footbed designed to keep feet fresh throughout the day. It also has a wide footprint, providing stability, ankle support and high grip.

The range comprises 25 models to suit the needs of personnel across a broad spectrum of industries.
