Cool, dry and safe
February 1st 2008

The concept of climate controlling clothing which uses intelligent materials and manufacturing techniques to complement the body's regulating systems for remaining cool and dry has been used for the new uvex xenova climatec footwear. The climatec lining wicks away moisture from the feet to reduce the risk of blistering or fungal infection, increasing comfort and productivity.

Lightweight, anti-slip, impact and compressionresistant, the safety shoe is made without metal components yet is said to have the strength of a much heavier, metal toecap product.
