Fashioning cool comfort for feet
October 1st 2008

uvex developed the concept of climate controlling clothing which uses intelligent materials and manufacturing techniques to complement the body's regulating systems for remaining cool and dry.

Its new xenova climatec safety footwear contains these properties.

Lightweight, anti-slip, impact and compression resistant, the shoe is manufactured without metal components, yet is said to have all the strength of a heavier, metal toecap product. It is styled like a fashionable trainer with green or blue trim on an anthracite body. The climatec materials and shock absorbing insole are designed to ensure wearer comfort.

The shoe has a petrol/oil resistant, antistatic/ ESD, heat resistant and non-marking sole and dual density non-metallic safety toe cap.
