Footwear offers sole benefits
June 1st 2004

Footwear specialist Jallattes latest sole unit technology includes the J-Escape that has been designed for those working in tough environments who need high levels of grip and durability.

The all-terrain sole unit offers deep, multidirectional and self-cleaning tread patterns to provide maximum grip. A Neotril polymer sole, resistant to hydrocarbons and direct contact with heat to 300C, is combined with a progressive shock absorber in the heel, cushioning the impact between foot and ground and absorbing vibrations. The Softane comfort layer provides flexibility and extra comfort.

Another sole unit, the Lightane, combines style, comfort, performance and low weight. Safety is ensured by inclusion of a 100% composite 200 joule Xetane safety toecap that is said to be 50% lighter than traditional toecaps, and FleXtane pierce-resistant ballistic fibre midsole (said to be 70% lighter than steel.)
