Glassworker boot June 1st 2009 In response to what it says has been
huge demand from flat and
container glass companies, Goliath
Footwear has developed a new
Glassworker boot. The
boot combines cut
resistant and pierce
resistant materials
with Goliath's DDR
technology.
The entire upper
of the boot is
protected with a
special lining that
Goliath says performs at least 3
times better than the standard
requirement in both cut resistance
and puncture resistance tests. This
flexible material is said to have an
extremely high tear and tensile
strength to withstand instances of
glass penetration and lacerations. A
steel midsole is also used as a barrier
against glass penetration under foot.
The Glassworker boot also boasts
Goliath's injected Dual Density
Rubber (DDR) sole for the ultimate
durability and comfort.
Heat resistant to 300°C, this
specialist sole unit also has
excellent slip resistance
properties,
surpassing the
latest European
standard SRC. More articles from Goliath Footwear Ltd: |
