Helping to prevent slips April 1st 2008 The summer of 2008 will see
Shoes for Crews (Europe)
extending its slip-resistant
footwear range with the
introduction of composite
products and extending its
soft toe range, adding five
new styles and introducing a
solution designed to
minimise the spread of
bacteria and viruses in the
workplace.
The SFC product range
includes dress, casual and
athletic wear with both soft-
toe and steel-toe boots and
shoes available for a variety
of industry sectors.
New products include a
Composit-toe, non-metallic
boot that contains a nonmetallic
midsole that
provides puncture-resistance
and is suitable for areas
such as warehouses, prisons
and airports where security
screening occurs.
There is a Composit-toe
trainer suitable for hospitals,
kitchen areas and hotels,
and a Composit-toe shoe for
heavy industrial areas.
The company says that
the slip resistance provided
by its footwear helps to
reduce absenteeism due to
slip falls and contributes to
increased productivity.
