December 1st 2004 Spikys from A. Algeo are rubber straps that fit over shoes or boots to prevent slipping in snowy or icy conditions.
Made from 76% natural rubber and 24% high-grade synthetic rubber they can stretch to 6.5 times their original length, allowing them to accommodate a wide variety of footwear.
Small perforations in the rubber help increase elasticity and lets the Spikys be worn all day without pinching the foot.
There are no buckles or straps. Instead, an easy to use heel tab allows them to be put on or removed quickly. The spikes themselves are made from hardwearing widia steel.
