Inlay helps to keep feet dry
February 1st 2007

A key factor in maintaining healthy feet when wearing safety footwear is to keep the feet dry.

This can be achieved by the use of suitable socks and different kinds of linings.

Perspiration, after passing through the special socks, is transported to the outside by the lining material, enabling feet to remain dry throughout the working day.

Bata Industrials Europe points out that the sole of the foot is one of the most critical areas due to the high concentration of perspiratory glands.

The company's new inlaysole is composed of an extremely absorbent and quick-drying fleece material that has anti-allergenic properties. It prevents the PU material of the midsole from permeating the undersurface of the inlaysole. The entire thickness of the inlaysole is used to absorb perspiration and moisture.

Bata says that the antistatic or ESD values are secured.
