Keeping feet dry
October 1st 2006

Gore Workwear partner, Sievi, has introduced a versatile collection of protective footwear.

The new Sievi 2006 Gore- Tex technology collection comprises a wide selection of styles for men and for ladies, covering sizes from 35 to 48.

At the heart of the range is the Gore-Tex membrane which is said to prevent outside moisture from entering the footwear while simultaneously dissipating perspiration away from the foot and out of the shoe.

The shoe is said to breathe with the wearer's feet, keeping him/her comfortably dry in all conditions.

The range includes the Gore-Tex XCR safety shoe, AL 6 GT which is waterproof, resistant to oil and most chemicals, is antistatic and has an aluminium toe cap and shock absorbent sole.

The shoe also contains Sievi Gel Comfort-insole and Sievi Balance rotational rigidity. This is said to improve the control of the foot, reducing strain to the ankles and accident risk.

The Gore-Tex safety boot GT 10 is waterproof, resistant to oil and most chemicals, antistatic and has a steel toe cap and shock absorbent sole.
