Showing shoe solutions
August 1st 2007

The Bayflex footwear range of raw materials from Bayer MaterialScience will be represented at A+A 2007 by the company's polyurethane systems houses – BaySystems BÜFA, Bay Systems Italia and BaySystems Iberia.

Polyurethane materials meet the strict requirements of ISO EN standards relating to safety shoes.

Features include high tear propagation resistance, dimensional stability and a high level of resistance to gasoline, oil and chemicals.

Due to the sealed surface and the porous core underneath, polyurethane ester integral foams are both robust and lightweight.

The good damping and flex-crack resistance of polyurethane materials is said to ensure both a high level of shock absorption at the heel and a high level of flexibility at the front of the foot.
