That’s the spirit
October 1st 2005

Bata Industrials believes its safety shoes offer the wearer health and comfort in addition to protection.

Its new Spirit collection, for example, has sufficient space around the forefoot and instep to ensure stability and comfort. The sole is designed to be antislip, while the top and lining are made from lightweight, breathable materials that keep feet dry and fresh.

The comfort factor is further boosted when the shoe is worn with Bata Industrials’ socks.

A key feature in the shoe’s design is its Tunnelsystem®. When pressed a built-in shock absorber deforms to distribute pressure over a larger surface area. This makes it easier on the joints.

The company believes that by giving the heel extra stability, the Tunnelsystem helps to prevent fatigue, loss of concentration and avoids many accidents.

The Spirit range comprises 16 models and is available in sizes 6 to 13.

Five models are available starting at size 3. Most have a steel midsole to protect against sharp objects.
