Waterproof boot with steel Toecap
December 1st 2005

Industrial solutions manufacturer Dewalt has introduced a new, multipurpose boot.

Challenger is made from Gore-Tex materials to ensure that it is 100% waterproof and provides breathability for wearer comfort.

Features include full grain nubuck leather uppers, padded collar for added protection and comfort and steel toecap that provides 200 Joules toe protection and can withstand a weight of more than one tonne.

The boot's penetrationresistant steel midsole can withstand punctures from nails and other sharp objects, while the Pu/Tpu outsole is resistant to 300°C, as well as being resistant to oil and acid.

The boot has an antibacterial inner sole and breathable Gore-Tex lining.

Challenger is available in brown and black and in sizes 6 to 12. Stockists include BuckHickman InOne, RS Components and Toolbank.
