ATEX LED headtorch
October 1st 2010

Wolf Safety has added a new headtorch to its Wolf ATEX Lighting Range. The Wolf ATEX LED Headtorch is an ultra small primary cell powered head lamp with a high power LED light source, CE marked to the 94/9/EC (ATEX Equipment) Directive for safe use in Zones 1 & 2 Hazardous Areas.

The product incorporates a powerful 'fitted for life' LED light source with an output of up to 50 lumens, providing four hours full brightness and up to 25 hours total light from just one set of three AAA alkaline primary cells.

Designed for easy single handed switching, it is robust, water and dust tight to IP66 and made from a durable, chemical resistant and electrostatic non-hazardous thermoplastic material.

A tilt adjustment mechanism allows the user to angle the light, while bespoke optics deliver an extra wide angle beam, which is particularly suitable for close inspection and maintenance tasks.

The adjustable removable fabric head band allows the headtorch to be comfortably worn for extended periods.
