Compact way to monitor noise

Casella CELs new CEL 310 noise dosimeter badge was designed and produced after users asked the company to reduce the size of personal samplers and, if possible, eliminate the use of cabling.

The Dose Badge (not much bigger than a traditional lapel badge), clips neatly onto clothing or a safety helmet.

It features an infrared download of information to a reader capable of storing results from 999 badges, and software that allows individual exposure levels to be collected in the user friendly database.

With neither microphone nor cables, the Dose Badge is easy to use. It may be calibrated through the reader and the company expects its low cost to make it attractive for multi personnel use.

Casellas James Carlyle says The Dose Badge has proved to be as popular among those seeking compliance with the latest legislation as the Apex (personal sampling pump). It has already been acclaimed by occupational and industrial hygienists, health and safety consultants and others seeking to monitor solvents, fumes, gases asbestos and dust.
