Flame-proof fabric
April 1st 2011

Gore's new multifunctional protective GORE-TEX Heat & Flame fabric with Gore Antistatic is a versatile flame retardant fabric available as a two-layer and three-layer laminate.

It is electric arc resistant, has an antistatic layer and exceeds all European Norms in this category. It offers the utility, oil, gas, petrochemical and transport industries a versatile multinorm fabric option.

Compared to other fabrics in this market it is soft to handle and is relatively lightweight making it a comfortable option for end users.

Gore Antistatic Technology is an integral component as part of the GORE-TEX ePTFE membrane and as such dissipates static charges continuously without having to find a path through the grid structure, as in typical alternative products.
