JSP is shortlisted
September 1st 2011 British PPE manufacturer JSP has
been shortlisted for the Innovation of
the Year award at the SHP IOSH
Awards for its FilterSpec PRO, a
combination of safety goggles and
disposable respirator in one
integrated unit.
FilterSpec PRO solves the problem
of incompatible safety goggles and
disposable mask by integrating them
in a way that allows both protective
devices to work independently, but in
harmony, at full effectiveness and
with a perfect fit. It helps satisfy HSE
concerns on the quality of the fit and
eliminates the enduring problem of
leaky masks, lens fogging and wearer
discomfort.
The combined unit also solves any
of the problems associated with silica
dust, a serious issue in construction,
