Portable shower
January 1st 2004

An emergency portable drench shower from Maestro International packs into a low-profile container for easy stowage.

On site, it can be erected in seconds and connected to a water source for dousing the victim with copious quantities of water in the event of body contamination or relief from exposure to heat.

The robust container of the new P700 measures 760 by 140 by 490mm and has all the parts required to create a highly efficient emergency shower: three-section steel pipe that simply screws together and connects with the control valve in the base of the unit; large diameter shower head that delivers a wide water spray for complete dowsing; and hose-reel for connecting valve to water source.

The showers space-saving design uses the lid of the container as the footplate that activates the control valve as soon as the victim stands under the shower head.
