Cool hands, no sweat
February 1st 2008

The idea of controlling temperature, perspiration levels and, therefore, wearer comfort in safety clothing and PPE is not new to uvex, within the concept climatec.

The company has introduced a safety glove which combines the benefits of climatec with advances in manufacturing and materials to produce a comfortable glove with level 5 cut protection.

uvex Helix C5 is suitable for many different applications and conditions. Its Bamboo Twinflex technology blends a silky-feel bamboo fibre for temperature regulation and moisture wicking, with cut resistant hybrid yarns to achieve high levels of cut and abrasion resistance.

The glove is made using Flat Ergo moulds which replicate the hand exactly to give a seamless finish and improve fit and dexterity.

High performance elastomer coatings improve the product's breathability and give good grip in light oil or dry conditions.
