With the introduction of a
14mm safety protection
resolution Leuze Mayser
has extended the
application of its Solid 4E
light curtain to include
hand and finger protection.
Standard features of other
curtains have been included
in this Type 4 development,
such as two adjustable
different light beam codings
that prevent optical crosstalking
between
neighbouring devices and
maintenance-free operation
due to the fail-safe OSSD
transistor output.
Various LEDs and a digital
display indicate the OSSD
status, report a weak
reception signal and help
make adjustments or quickly
perform error diagnostics.
As well as the integrated
standard functions, restart
interlock and relay
monitoring, the intelligent
interface devices from the
Leuze Mayer MSI series
bring increased flexibility,
such as muting, single/
double break as well as a
facility for connecting
safety switches.
