PROTECTION FROM ELECTRICAL CURRENT
April 1st 2004

Comasec says its new Electricians glove range means that shutting off the electricity supply to buildings, plant and equipment to undertake maintenance work is no longer an inconvenient requirement.

The five glove range has been designed to provide wearers with protection against direct hand contact with electrical current from 500 to 26 500v.

Made from 100% natural latex, the gloves are available in a range of thicknesses, sizes and lengths to meet every need and they comply with the BS EN 60903 standard.

Mike Reid, Comasecs managing director, comments Even when undertaking minor maintenance work, the electrical supply has traditionally had to be turned off. The electricians glove means that people can now work on equipment with the electrical current still running through it.
