Protects from needle injury
February 1st 2008 PHS Besafe now supplies
the HexArmor range of
needlestick-resistant hand
protection. The safety gloves
are said to provide almost
total protection against
injury from needles and
syringes with no loss in
manual dexterity for the
wearer.
There are 16 products in
the HexArmor range. Each
incorporates advanced new
fabric technology, enabling
the wearer to feel confident
and secure. (HexArmor
fabric effectively
traps and blocks
needles so that they
cannot reach the
skin). It has an ISEA
level 5 cut-resistance
rating.
Applications include
high risk areas such as law
enforcement, security, waste
recycling and sorting.
