Splash-resistant August 1st 2008 Ansell has broadened its
portfolio of industrial gloves
with the introduction of a long
cuff version of the single-use
Touch N Tuff nitrile glove.
Chemical tests by an
independent agency have
demonstrated that the glove
offers a high level of
protection against chemical
substances and with its
longer cuffs, the new 92-605
version will further increase
levels of protection.
Trials by Centexbel, a
Belgian notified body,
measured the resistance of
the Touch N Tuff glove and
11 of its competitors to
chemical permeation from
10 key chemicals in the
principal chemical families.
According to Ansell, the
findings showed that no
other single-use nitrile glove
tested resists a greater
variety of industrial
chemicals for a longer period
than the Touch N Tuff.
Other features include a
high level of puncture
resistance which is said to
be three to four times
higher than that of some
similar neoprene or Natural
Rubber Latex gloves.
Made from 100% nitrile,
the glove helps to eliminate
the risk of latex allergies
and shows no evidence of
risk from irritation or type
IV allergies. Stand 42 More articles from Ansell Healthcare Europe NV: |
