Water resistant HAV monitor
June 1st 2010

UK supplier of HAV solutions, Campbell Associates, has announced that CVK has introduced a water resistant version of its HealthVib HAV vibration system.

The vibration transducer is built into the user's safety glove for hand arm vibration assessments. It makes measurements in full compliance with the requirements of ISO 5349, quickly and simply. With the new water resistant casing, it can now be used in moist environments and deliver accurate, results.

The user simply puts his/ her hands in the gloves and presses the wireless button to connect both hands to a wireless logging device. Then press start and X,Y and Z direction data is recorded from both hands and collected on the logging device.

Both the batteries and memory have capacity to run for more than one shift and the logger can be connected to a PC for post data reporting and assessment.
