Cap conforms
February 1st 2011

According to JSP, the first bump cap to conform to EN812+A1 was its HardCap A1+, which actually offers protection greater than that required by the standard it was designed to meet. Behind the smart exterior is a tough safety product that exceeds both the impact and penetration tests set by the EN.

The HardCap A1+ can withstand a 500g impact dropped from 0.5m from any direction up to 60° offcentre, and extends the spike penetration protection to the same extent.

As a fashion item the HardCap A1+ comes in several colour combinations including Hi Viz orange. Reflective piping that edges the cap looks great and increases visibility, and the choice of three peak sizes makes it suitable for many indoor and outdoor situations.
