Electric arc faceshield
February 1st 2008

Scott Health and Safety's Protector FHK67 electrician's helmet mounted face shield carrier combination has been enhanced to offer versatility, comfort and protection against short circuit electrical arc of up to 1000V AC.

The carrier is designed without metal components and fitted with rubber tension attachments. The peak profile of the FHK67 has been modified to provide an optimum fit for Protector Style 300 and Style 600 safety helmets. The carrier face shield combination securely fits many other modern profile helmets. The electrician's carrier can be supplied with acetate or acetate anti fog face shield and is CE approved to EN166.

Following the product enhancements, the Protector FHK67 face shield was successfully upgraded from low (Grade F) to Grade B medium impact approval.

Both Style 300 and Style 600 are approved to EN50365 and VDE 1000V, enabling Scott Health and Safety to offer an approved head and face combination for electricity workers.
