Protection for hotheads
November 1st 2010

First to launch a safety helmet to meet the high performance standard EN14052, JSP is now launching a new helmet that can be used in high radiated heat environments exceeding 150°C while conforming to the lateral deformation tests of standard EN397. The helmet joins the Mk 7 range of JSP helmets, and will be called the Mk 7 Hi-Temp 150.

JSP has been developing the Hi-Temp 150 for two years, and researched many materials in order to create a helmet that achieves the best safety performance while remaining comfortable and effective. The company chose an engineering grade of Polyamide which exceeds the requirements of EN397, and when used with a JSP 24 carat gold coated reflective visor gives effective head and face protection for workers in industries such as iron and steel foundries, and chemicals and glass manufacturing.
