Versatile shields
April 1st 2006

Scott Health and Safety will be exhibiting at Safety & Health Expo its new Protector Interchange 900 Series.

The specially-shaped face shield has been developed for use with new brow guard and helmet mounted carriers.

It is said to offer the user a high degree of protection and comfort from a diverse range of impact, splash and high heat hazards, by using a wide selection of materials to suit almost every industrial application.

The Interchange 900 series visor range fits all brow guards, metal and plastic carriers in the range and is designed to simplify the selection of face protection for the customer, alleviating issues of fit and compatibility.

The company's Profile2 twin filter, half mask respirator will also be on display. Easy to fit and fully adjustable, it provides low breathing resistance and a high level of comfort over long duration.

The device is easy to use, simple to maintain and is said to offer low through-life costs.

Profile2 uses the Scott Pro2 range of gas particulate and combined filters to provide respiratory protection for a variety of workers.
