August 1st 2007 Sperian Protection has introduced the Satellite Brilliant OSE, a new optoelectronic welding helmet that is designed to meet the needs of welding professionals. The helmet enables welders to have a good view of their surroundings when welding, grinding and during set-up applications. The filter ensures constant protection against harmful ultraviolet and infrared rays, ensuring optimum visibility when carrying out all welding tasks. This latest development of the optoelectronic system uses a cartridge which senses light and reacts in real time to changes in brightness, maximising eye protection. The Brilliant filter provides users with a detailed and true-colour view, allowing the welder to read the digital settings of the machine's LEDs with the helmet still in position. Satellite Brilliant OSE has a metallic finish so heat generated during welding is reflected away efficiently.
