Assesses noise exposure
December 1st 2006

The Model 22A doseBadge system from Pulsar Instruments allows employers to quickly and efficiently assess daily noise exposure for employees, while a separate Peak channel lets them assess any risk from impulsive noise in the workplace.

The worker wears the unit on his/her shoulder or safety hat. It has neither controls nor cables. An enhanced software package allows the creation of quick and concise reports that are both professional and informative so that the employer is able to concentrate on implementing measures to minimise the risks.

A reader unit with integral acoustic calibrator is used to reset, calibrate, start, stop and download the measurements from each doseBadge.
