Comfort commended

Kimberly-Clark Professional has been celebrating after itsH30 Multiple-use ComfortFlex and H50 Multiple-use Ear Clips were recognised this year at the BSIF Safety Innovation awards; the Kleenguard H50 won the Commended Award.

Having identified the importance of comfort in getting workers to wear hearing protection Kimberley-Clark developed the range using a soft foam free from silicone, latex or phthalates which is designed to conform to the ear canal opening and minimizes the potential risk of allergic reactions.

The ComfortFlex Earplug's tapered design means the user does not have to put the foam in and wait for it to expand - but is given immediate protection as soon as it is in the ear.
