Hi-viz protector
June 1st 2004

Peltors new series of hearing protectors are for use in high-risk areas.

Known as Peltor Optime Hi-Viz, protectors are based on the companys Peltor Optime model and come in three versions. These range from Optime I, that provides good attenuation while allowing good acoustic communications opportunities, to the Optime III that has extra high attenuation, making it suitable for high noise level environments.

For airport personnel, Peltor Hi-Viz has a Ground Mechanic headset. This has acoustic properties that allow communication in extreme noise environments. A microphone, mounted on the left, has Quick Positioning, allowing easy switching between stand-by and operational modes.
