SIMPLE METER GIVES QUICK NOISE CHECK
June 1st 2005

A simple sound level meter from Cirrus Research gives quick, reliable noise measurements.

James Tingay, marketing manager, comments “The CR:262 has been designed to meet the needs of the safety officer who needs an accurate measurement tool, but who also needs an instrument that can be picked up and used without having to go through a complicated set-up or having to read a long manual.

“Introduction of the new Noise at Work regulations in february 2005 has put the focus onto employers to ensure that their noise measurements and risk assessments are up-todate.

The CR:262 is the ideal instrument for making noise surveys and assessing the risk of noise exposure in the workplace.” Three button pushes are all it takes to calibrate, start and stop a measurement
