Small, yet powerful

Pocket size and low weight, the GA215 sound pressure level meter from Castle Group is designed to meet the new European Physical Agents Directive for noise at work.

The instrument can measure instantaneous sound pressure level (Lp), average sound energy (Leq), maximum sound pressure level (Lmax) and simultaneous maximum peak level (Pmax).

The company says that having Leq and Pmax at the same time is crucial to carrying out noise at work risk assessments. The instrument also features elapsed time, A and C frequency weighting and Slow and Fast time constants.

Everything is housed in a tough body with tactile keypad and 8-digit alphanumeric display.
