Anti-flame workwear
October 1st 2006

Each year people suffer burns caused by the uncontrolled ignition of flammable chemicals and other materials at work.

Workwear supplier, Trading Solutions, recognises that appropriate safety clothing is essential to minimise the risk of injury. The company's Tim Sandford says "At one time the only flame resistant clothing types available were those with a chemical applied to the surface of a fabric. Now, we are able to offer inherently flame retardant garments where the chemical is woven into the fabric."

He says that while some less expensive brands, lose their anti-flame properties after several washes, the Pioner Fristads range has a lifetime guarantee. The range is made from DuPont's Nomex material and undergoes rigorous testing.

Trading Solutions has launched a new website: www.specialistworkwear.co.uk
