Effective dust control
April 1st 2006

Vacuum cleaners in the IVB range from Nilfisk Advance are said to offer a safe and cost effective solution to hazardous dust.

The IVB 3, 5 and 7 machines with 27, 45 and 70L capacities respectively, are approved to handle medium M class and highly hazardous H class dust and can be used for wet or dry material.

They have PET/cellulose filters and have a high level of sealing to ensure that even the smallest particles are captured and retained.

For safety, units have air monitoring and an alarm that sounds when the filter is clogged and airflow falls below 20m/sec.

IVB 5 and 7 have automatic Xtreme Clean filter cleaning technology; the smaller IVB3 has a manually operated Push & Clean system to maintain consistent suction and to help extend the life of the filter.
