Hygienic brushes for sensitive areas
April 1st 2006

The Hill Brush Company, manufacturer of Salmon Products, will be exhibiting at Interclean (9 to 12 May, Amsterdam) brushes and other cleaning equipment for hygienically sensitive areas in food factories, dairies, catering establishments and hospitals.

Products comply with EU regulations, including 852/2004 - which came into force in January this year - and the US Public Service Food Code 1993.

Brushes include a range with special Duo-Set dual brush filament retention.

These are made with each tuft stapled into the brush back.

Epoxy resin is then floated into a recess on the face of the brush, which covers the filaments and staples as it goes, resulting in a completely sealed brush face. This makes the chance of a filament pulling out extremely remote.
