Microfibre cloth with pure silver
August 1st 2007

PUREAg microfibre contains small particles of silver that prevent the growth of bacteria within the microfibre, preventing the release of harmful bacteria into the environment.

PUREAg Silver is said to have a permanent antibacterial effect of 99.6 to 99.99% reduction of bacteria such as S.Aureus, K.Pneumoniae and E.Coli, and retains its antibacterial effect through the cloth's complete lifespan.

The company says the dermatalogically tested, highly absorbent cloth needs only a simple rinse to retain its original freshness.

Silver in the form of nano-particles is dissolved in melted polymer before the fibres are made. The result, says the company is that very small silver particles are evenly distributed inside the fibre.Enough particles are in contact with the surface to ensure the antibacterial effect.
