Stripping made safer April 1st 2004 Under a new partnership between Invista and Eco-Solutions, professionals and consumers in the UK can now purchase a range of paint-stripping products containing dibasic esters (DBEs).
These products are described as a safe-to-use and biologically degradable alternative to potentially hazardous solvent or caustic-based strippers.
The range includes paint strippers, brush cleaners and nail varnish removers. Several coats can be stripped in one application without damaging the underlying surface, regardless of whether on plaster, stone, steel or wood.
Due to the non-hazardous nature of the products, safe disposal of the residue is also reported to be much easier. More articles from Eco Solutions Ltd: |
