Sweeping statement
October 1st 2011

When it comes to keeping streets clear of debris, sweeping up is only half the task – the swept material must be collected too. Broadwood International, UK distributor of the BroomEx pedestrian power broom range, offers a solution with the debris collection hopper.

This simple yet innovative piece of equipment simply sits over front mounting points on the BroomEx sweeper, and runs along on its own four castoring wheels ahead of the rotating brush. Due to the pivoting brush head design, the rotating brush is free to spin right up to kerbs and other obstacles without impediment from the collection hopper, meaning gulleys and gutters can be swept clean in one pass, and removing the need for the operator to go back and collect the swept debris and material.
