The FireSafe building from Portakabin meets the joint codes of practice, a series of measures drawn up by a group of organisations to ensure that work on a construction site is carried out under the highest standards of fire safety.

The building provides a high level of comfort and thermal efficiency and has a special low-level lifting feature, that fulfils HSE guidelines to avoid working at height.

Wipe clean steel walls allow items such as notice boards, fire extinguishers and coat hooks to be fixed to the wall using magnets.

Floors are covered with a light grey, easy-clean vinyl to enhance light levels in the building, while extractor fans – with firesafe vents – contribute to a fresh working environment.

Other features include a window guard system and high security steel doors that protect against vandalism and theft. Pyroshield glazing ensures a high level of fire safety.

The building comes with a 20-year structural warranty.
