FireSound wall and ceiling panels can be used in applications where there is a need to improve the acousti c environment while providing a high level of fire safety. The product was designed to comply with London Underground standards for spread of flame, smoke and toxicity, in areas needing a reduction in reverberent noise to improve the clarity of messages. It is aimed at buildings that require the best fire ratings. FireSound has been tested to the new European harmonised standards and achieves the Euroclass Reaction to Fire Classification B-s2, d0. The panels are designed to be aesthetically pleasing. Suitable for walls or ceilings, they are tough and functional with high impact resistance and a cleanable surface finish. FireSound is made from specially-painted, perforated steel with a fire-rated, sound-absorbing infill.
